Vibiemme DB Jr. brew pressure

After a recent descaling I noticed that my Vibiemme double boiler jr. brew pressure is running high. With the blind filter or double basket it is consistently at 1-1.2. I tried adjusting the brew stat (located center-left on the jr) and I have found it make no difference when moved in either direction even after waiting 25-30 mins. Any idea on how I can further trouble shoot this issue? Is it likely something I did when I descaled?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like you are confused to me.. 1 to 1.2 is closer to what would be the pressure of the steam boiler. Normal indicated brew pressure is in the 9.5 to 10.0 range.
The steam boiler is regulated by a Jaeger pressurestat. The brew water temperature is regulated by a bulb thermostat.
So which are we talking about?

You are correct. I was typing without thinking. The issue still persists with the pressure hovering around 11.5

sound like you are dealing with water pressure/pressure
not steam pressure,
turn the OPV screw down 1/8 of turn and test again with blind filter

Stefano,
I tried to tighten (clockwise) the opv valve, but I am unable to do so. It seems as if it is as tight as it will go.

I think I'm almost there. What is an good place to start of the brew pressure? Around 9?

Probably around 9.5. There is a pressure loss between where the gauge mounts and the coffee.
