Cimbali Max grinder - own one?

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

I posted a question on coffeegeek about cimbali max's and whether or not they're conical (link). One person quoted a very reliable source we all know as having asked the cimbali sales people this question either this year or last at SCAA and being told categorically that they are not conical, that they are just jr's with automatic grinding capability added. Then someone posted a picture showing the burrs in his Max which most definitely are conical. So if you own a Max:

1. what kind of burrs does it have in it?

2. when did you buy it?

3. from a vendor or an individual?

4. in the US or somewhere else?

Thank you.

The Max grinder is the more expensive, less popular big brother to the Junior.

It has autogrind capability (one of my least favourite attributes of any grinder).
It has a larger hopper.

The burrs are a combination of conical and flat and of the same diameter as the Junior for USA models.

This grinder is imported by very few dealers across the country.
Ammirati Imports (my company, a master importer) has never imported one.
