I't look great! This is a really very nice spot that everyone like to sea near the kitchen. There are some beautiful cups also.

Sorry for the poor lighting in the picture. The La Cimbali Max Hybrid sitting next to Silvia arrived this evening and I could not help posting my new set up. I dialed Max in on some Meritage from Cuvee Coffee, and wow, what a difference. If my espresso tasting parlance were better I would describe all of the new flavors I found. I am going to have to go back to all the blends I tried in the past and give them another shot with Max.
Oh, please ignore the Jura embarrassment to the right of Silvia. It is not mine. I swear.

I can finally get rid of these. No more WDT!

Essentially this...

Image

I've got her setup on a quick 220 now... in my new place, she's now plumbed into a five gallon bottle with a flojet and a shurflo accumulator.

I should take a picture of that soon...

------Edit------

Here we go...

Everything in my tiny apartment seems to JUST FIT. Although I had to move my fridge to fit that there.

So is it a 120V machine or are you pirating the 220?
When I had my Linea setup in out kitchen, I was able to tap into our built in electric ovens 220v.
When I set it up I knew I would have to shut the Linea down before using the oven
and sure enough I forgot. It never blew the breaker running both the oven and the linea on
one circuit. Who knew?

Well I'm impressed Namson. When I had my commercial machine in my apt. I had a heck of a time keeping the circuit breaker from blowing constantly.

I've actually got a quick 220, which combines two 110v circuits.

It's that little whitish box to the right of the machine in the second picture.

That one is plastic, but I use to have two basset hounds. Their ears would almost drag the ground. They were bred that way. They are close kin to a bloodhound and are used for tracking. The short legs put them close to the ground. When the nose is down near the ground sniffing the ears lay forward creating a small pocket around the snout. That helps to catch the scent and concentrate it around the nose. Seriously, that is why they were bred for that trait. A full grown basset is quite a bit larger than that model.

I've seen some with callouses on their ears from dragging them around all the time.

Plus they have funny barks. We have a beagle that's somewhat similar in makeup, but a bit more 'athletic.'

We used to have a German Shepherd (pure breed) when lived in a bigger house, next Xmas " All I want for Xmas is a Basset Hound "!

Had to laugh a little bit at this one. My beagle (who is nearly 16) sleeps about 22 hours per day. She does have a funny bark though.

My used QuickMill Anita arrived a couple of weeks ago.
A slightly modified KitchenAid Proline grinder with teflon tape on the main threads and stepless.

Gah! You're all making me want to dig out my digital camera and take a picture of my setup!

Figure the picture will be coming in the near-ish future, but here's the text version:

Bezzera BZ99* (pourover), Mazzer Mini

*Otherwise known as the Bezzera that drives me nuts with some regularity, but that makes great espresso anyway.

I'm a student who started off with a Gaggia setup and just dumped money into making good coffee... I claim it's cheaper than a crack habit.
