No, this isn't about a new age fusion cuisine restaurant, I need to know whose PF bodies will fit in my Astoria Argenta and hold the 18g ridgeless doubleandahalf filterbaskets that Jon put together a buy for. There was a hint that they'd fit in the stock kit, but they are just shy.
I'm not sure I want to go the naked route at the moment, so I'm wondering who out there might have the expertise or experience to know what can be used in the Astoria that'll hold these beasts? Oh, and if you have the same info as it pertains to the Silvia, post that here, too! There have been rumours that there is an aftermarket LM PF that'll hold the 21g triple, and that it will no only accommodate this filterbasket but will fit the Rancilio Silvia. Any verification for this rumour?

The old school Astoria PF body will work as well as a Brasilia. The LM PF body, either stock or aftermarket will hold the stock LM / CMA 21 gram basket and can be used in Silvia.

You speak of the AS-79, yes? I noticed that you folk offer the LM triple basket as an option, but you also offer it with the AS-126's that I have. Does this necessarily mean that the triple will fit in both? Will the 18g fit in the '79, but not in the '126?
A while back, I remember that either the Rancilio pro handle fit in my Astoria, and the converse was not the case, or the exact opposite was true. I'd be ever so happy if I could find a PF that'd hold the 18g in the Silvia and my Astoria. Lacking that, I'm guessing I'm ordering a new AS-59, and either the OEM or aftermarket LM PF (as both will accommodate the 18g basket)?
Please excuse the commercial nature of the post, but Terry does have the unique opportunity to both have these at his disposal to play with immediately, and have the experience and qualifications to make suggestions in this area, and it is just a coincidence that he also has these for sale.
And I asked him, he isn't pushing anything on me.

I have just tried (Silvia is at the GF's house and the Astoria is here, and I just spent the weekend at war drinking from the mokapot) the two PF's in each other's groups, and neither the Silvia's stock PF nor the pro will fit in the Astoria. The Astoria's PF seemed to work just fine (pulled a coupla shots and backflushed) in the Silvia. Does this suggest that I could get one of the newer Astoria PF's and use the 18g baskets in that PF on both machines?
