I think most listmembers that are of a mind to sell would probably ebay their machines, hoping a bidding war would ensue (such as the one you were in recently!) and raise the price beyond what you realistically should pay.
Creminas come up on ebay all the time. Bide your time, check daily, and look for Buy it Now. When you see one you like with a reasonable BIN, get it immediately. Don't ask the seller questions, don't think too much about it, just get it! Otherwise it will be gone. If it turns out to be not as advertised, work that out with the seller later.
There was recently a very nice 90's machine with a BIN of $500 that got into a bidding war and sold for >$800.
Most of the BINs are between $400-$500 for decent machines.
For some reason Creminas are really hot right now (probably because of this forum!) and bidding wars take them up out of sight.
