Does anyone know roughly when Pasquini stopped branding Cimbali Juniors as Pasquini and Cimbali started selling them as Cimbali?

Thanks.

Pasquini Imports had a co-branded line of espresso machines built by La Cimbali for about 5 years in total.
The Pasquini machine was really the La Cimbali M-27 series.

The Pasquini machine was put to rest by La Cimbali circa 1998.

So does that mean that any Cimbali Junior, branded Cimbali Junior is less than 8 years old?
Thanks!

Based on what TJ said, I do not think that the Pasquini branded machine is a Junior at all, since the Junior is an M-21 class machine in the current line up. He says the Pasquini was an M-27, a larger machine.

That Cimbali Junior could be older.

I'm not an expert, nor an importer of La Cimbali machines (like TJ), nor Pasquini.

I wonder if that really is a "Junior".

See: http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews...machines/Rick/1662

Especially this part (emphasis added):

This machine is an oddball. The La Cimbali M27, on which it is based, is normally a commercial 2-group model. This Pasquini version is built with M27 components, but in a "compact" single group version. The machine measures 14.5w" x 18.25h" x 19.25d". This makes it larger than a new Junior or any of the mainstream enthusiast Hx machines such as the Livia, the Isomac sisters (Tea and Millennium), or the 2-boiler Reneka Techno. The M27 won't fit under regular kitchen cabinets, so I wouldn't recommend one unless kitchen mods are in your future.

Rats, so there's no guessing how old a Junior is.

Thanks anyway!
