Hi Folks,
My first post under my new name. With regards to all the speculation regarding Olympia I wanted to share my recent experience. At the beginning of March I placed an online order for a few parts and within a few days I had a response and supplied my credit card info. Last week my invoice arrived and yesterday my parcel arrived with my new boiler cap and gasket sets. To say the least I was very pleased with the speed of the service Olympia provided and I encourage all who are needing parts to contact them directly. I have had correspondence with Christine Jaton and Christian Sagehorn. I hope this helps settle things down a bit.
Regards, Ian Wilson

Has anyone gotten an order accepted by them. Have they shipped any machines.

Thanks,
Ken

While your question isn't the same as the one that started this thread, I took the liberty of merging the two topics since I suspect the answer is unchanged, i.e., depending on who you ask about Olympia's responsiveness to inquiries, you'll get a different answer. :?

Maybe this doesn't says much about the availability in the US but here's my experience:

I placed an order with them on 22th of january, got the confirmation on 18th of february and the order (for my maximatic) delivered on 29th of february. it was the following stuff:

1 x FILTER (the one in the tank with a fine mesh) CHF 11.00
1x COMPLETE MACHINE GASKET SET CHF 70.00
2 x 2-CUPS FILTER CHF 25.00 each (now they're up to CHF 63!)
1 x STEAM VALVE FLAT GASKET (Ø 10 X 3.2 X 4.5 EPDM) CHF 5.00

what still seems to be unavailable (at least temporarily) are portafilters and pstats.
