Someone is selling a slightlly used 2002 Olympia Cremina. How difficult is parts acquisition should they be needed?

Depends on what part you need. I think some of them need to come from the factory. Dealing with the factory is fun. I have been trying to get some things from them for a while. Count on multiple phone calls to Switzerland at odd hours of the night (depending on your location). They are very nice though, it just takes a long time for them to do anything.

If it's the one on Coffee Geek right now, it's from HB's Dan Kehn. You couldn't ask for a better previous owner than him. :D

Okay, as a seller he exceeds trustworthy. The unit would be my first machine so am concerned about its actual condition. PM's have been sent to him.

The great thing about a Cremina is the fact that there is not much that can go wrong with the machine. No pump and no electronic control boards. Mostly just gaskets that are available.
