Just because I feel lazy and don't want to email Olympia-Express and wait for the reply... Can you buy the set of usually included accessories ( knock box, funnel , pitcher etc) or does anybody have a line on an older set that would round out my machine? I know the route of just search and lurk sites.

Thanks

Looks like the spoon and the knockbox are orderable from the factory, but I think they will be the new version. The ones that are period correct for your machine will be brown plastic and a plastic tamper. If you look on ebay there is a complete machine out there now. I cannot believe the prices that these are going for. Must be some site on the web that guys are writing about them and making them popular. There was a late 80s model that would have been perfect for my Ferrari build but when they reach $650 bucks, it does not make it worth it to work on them. I keep hoping Bob will tire of his and I can get a red one. Hopefully that owner will join us soon on the site.

I believe that the knockbox and bar are still available in the original brown plastic from from Olympia. The current stainless steel knockbox is far more expensive and is shown under the 2002. I agree that the spoon which now doubles as the tamp is likely the current version-which is far nicer than the original one. It is a much better size and can do a pretty good job as a tamper as well.

Get another cover, powdercoat it red, and interchange as the mood strikes.

I want to do much more on the next rebuild than simply the case. Now if I can just get folks to quit bidding them up on Ebay.
