I just got off the phone with Emily, the new sales coordinator at ESI. She confirmed the following:

1. ESI is the exclusive U.S. importer for the GS3.
2. They do NOT have UL or NSF certification yet.
3. ESI has not delivered ANY machines to U.S. customers and LM is not even producing U.S. models.
4. They are "hoping" for NSF and UL approvals and the beginning of production for the U.S. by "late spring."
5. Anyone in the U.S. claiming to have a production GS3 has a non-U.S. model, and it was not obtained through ESI.

Marshall thanks for passing the information down regarding the gs3.
I find it helpful considering I am somewhere on the list.
I do wish I knew how many where on the list and my number but maybe that is asking too much from them and being too pushy.
Honestly I think that the late spring timeline under optimal conditions. They are dealing with certification processed which they have no control over the time line for completion. I can wait it is no big deal who knows I may have to wait longer to get a direct plumb model instead of a tank model. I do think the paddle group would be cool but it sounds like it is not going to happen.
keep the info coming when you get it I know alot of us really appreciate it.
Thanks

Jason,
The LM website has pictures of a paddle group GS3 (the GS3 page in the gallery), with the words "optional retrofit paddle group available in the future, as shown". Maybe the paddle group will happen.

The GS3 comes complete with parts either for use with water reservior or direct plumb in, you could do it yourself. It even has a kit for the drip tray should you want to plumb that in as well.
