EDIT: These instructions are not yet updated to the new version. In brief, look for the "Upload image" tab in the edit window. Select the Browse button, then Add the file. Once the file is uploaded, select "Place inline".

Confused about how to upload images on HB? Then you'll like the new HB-hosted image support. Select the "Upload image" button from the Post a new Topic or Post a Reply window shows the pop-up below. Select Browse... to locate the image you wish to upload:

Next select Upload to copy it to the forum server:

Note: For smaller images, your image is resized and then displayed in a preview window. If your image is larger than ~200K, please resize it with your favorite program before uploading.

Selecting Insert image will add the necessary BBcode to display the message in your post. Select Insert image and upload another one to add several pictures in succession; it will insert the necessary BBcode and return to the prior pop-up window for you to make another selection.

The BBcode for displaying uploaded images in your post will look something like this:

If you wish to insert an image you had previously uploaded, select Upload image... and then Show Gallery. From there you can add the necessary BBcode by selecting Insert image from below the image you wish displayed in your post.

Note: To avoid inadvertent broken links, there is no "delete image" capability. Instead, uploaded images that are not referenced in any HB post(s) are automatically purged weekly.
