Need info on installation of 1987(?) Pavoni Pub S

Hi everyone,


A few days ago I stumbled onto a local restaurant closure / owner's retirement sale. I could not pass up the deal they were willing to strike for their Pavoni Pub S. It is a single unit, and the sides are bright red. I think the production year is 1987.

They could not locate the owner's manual or any other instructions for this beautiful machine, so now I am completely lost trying to figure out how to set it up.

The machine came with an external pump and motor, as well as an external water softening cylinder.

Simply put, I don't know how all those hoses fit together and then connect to the machine and the water line, since I was not present when it was moved from the bar.

I have searched the 'net high and low, but I've had no luck tracking down user instructions or a set up guide for the machine.

I have emailed the folks at la Pavoni via their website, but have yet to receive a reply.

I am hoping that a member of this community may have some experience with this set up that they can pass on to me. I would be particularly grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to obtain an owner's manual.

contact crossroads espresso; they're the importers for commercial pavonis to the US;

also contact ed @ homeroaster.com... he has a similar model pavoni.
