I bought some Whole Foods Bel Canto Espresso blend today - apparently roasted today 2/7.
1/2 lb regular, 1/2 lb decaf. Decaf was marked as water processed.

dosed 10 g of the decaf in the europiccola

yuck!

is it because I need to wait a couple more days?
just the look of the bean - really dark
the smell - well, I can't describe but it had a mediciny smell to it

should these 2 attributes have warned me?
should I wait a couple more days or just return the stuff for a refund?

I've had Decaf Black Cat and I thought it was awesome.

Any suggestions on Decaf? Decaf Black Cat comes to mind but I'd like to other sources to try - hopefully non-mail order here in SoCal, preferably in Orange County, CA
