Hi, I'm new to this site,

I live in Switzerland and I have been using my la pavoni professional for 7 months now. I bought it new in Italy last summer. Water has started to leak from the base of my machine for 3 days now. The machine's still working and I still can get my daily shots of espresso.
When I fill it, it doesn't start to leak immediately, but only after a few hours. What I am doing these days is to empty it every time I have finished with it. However this is rather annoying.
I would like to know if any of you had any idea on what the problem could be on on how to resolve it. Would it be possible to fix it myself or do I need to have it repaired by a professional?

Thank you for you answers,
adenium

There is a boiler plate in the bottom of the machine with an O ring. That is held on with three screws, your plate may be loose. Take the base off of the machine and try too tighten them.
