My interpretation of what you said is, "The Peet's was so foul as espresso, that even the bitter dregs created by the dust from the whirleyblade grinder made the frozen *$$ taste superior."

... Everything is, indeed, relative. And I am glad you proved that, as neither of those experiments in tortuous tastes will ever pass my lips... at least as input.

Well, clearly I wasn't there and didn't taste the "experiment." (Thank God!) However, it seems to me that the pre-ground Peet's from the supermarket was "more stale" than the frozen Starbucks . . . but as I said -- I didn't taste them . . . .

I was being somewhat humorous in my response, and as you implied, it would not be a test in which I would be a willing participant. On this forum, which seems to serve a higher goal as the tag line in the logo would infer, it was an odd example to give for any purpose.

Might as well get a tape measure out and quantify the total distance of projectile vomiting to see which was least foul.

Sweet Maria's Papau New Guinea - Kimel Plantation Peaberry roasted last weekend.
This is at the end of the pull, when I get a better grinder, I'll compare, until then I'm happy. Next time it wont' be first thing in the morning and I'll polish things up before taking pictures.
