Just sayin' hello. I just got into this game yesterday by purchasing a Qucikmill Alexia w/optional PID and no-burn steam wand installed and a MACAP M4 Stepless grinder. These items were selected with a great deal of help provided by reviews on this site. I am a rank beginner but hope to be pulling some decent shots soon.

I drink mostly straight espresso, but my wife will have me making one milk-based drink per day. I'm looking forward to the challenge of acquiring the barista skills necessary to these tasks.

I have lots of good roasters in the area, so trying many different types of fresh beans will be high on my list of things to do once I get up to some sort of speed. I look forward to gaining insight from all of you as my journey commences.

Welcome to HB Mark. Lucky for you, you are situated in the golden espresso triangle. There is a lot of reading you can do here that will get you up to speed in the How Tos section, and FAQs. once you are done with it, go ahead and ask some questions.
