I need a fruity preblend for Behmor

Discuss roast levels and profiles for espresso, equipment for roasting coffee.

The "Jason House" home roasted espresso blend seems to be more on the darker taste profile side, and I'd like to pre blend a new one that would give me a fruitier (but not too citrus-y) taste profile.
I'll be roasting mostly with my Behmor, a bit with my CO/UFO setup.
All ideas welcome.
TIA

Paradise Roasters' Awassa or Klatch's Worka. Both are DP ethiopian fruitbombs that can go SO or in a blend with your favorite bass and midrange beans. if you want a distinctly fruity blend, stay at 50% for the Ethiopians. The Awassa is tougher, it need a lightish, pre-2nd roast, but too light will be overly acidic, and the sweetspot is quite narrow. However, it is a distinctly classier coffee.

Jim...I need to change the title of my thread...my bad.
I meant GREEN beans to be used in a more fruity blend.
If I can't change it, perhaps Dan can
Any thoughts on my corrected topic. Thanks for the roasted suggestions.
WHOOPS....just re-read your post...I was not aware Klatch had green for sale....really MY BAD.

Paradise Roasters also sells their coffees green; just select "green unroasted" from the roast & size pulldown. The Awassa is indeed a fruit bomb.

Rob
Tom at SM has an Ethiopia Sidamo Koratie DP, described as strong fruitiness. Am going to try in my next order.

I've had two batches of that. The DP is a fruit bomb.

Very interesting is the fact that he has the same crop prepped two ways--DP and WP. You can roast both and cup them side by side. I did that today and it was very educational. The coffees seem so different, yet each is very good in its own right. But the DP is the one with the fruit for sure.

Cheers,
paul

Bourbon, medium color (early rolling second) and slow profile. May be tough to pull off preblended with a fruity bean, since it will kill the fruit.
