I have a lever machine with the on/off switch. thermo lamp, and a 2-position switch labeled I and II - Roman 1 and 2, I presume. Does anyone one know what this switch is for? When switched to II, the machine, if it shut itself off, will come on again, heat some more (for about 2 minutes) and stop heating again. Is this higher setting for steam?

Many thanks.

Bingo. One is for brew temp, the other for steam. The new machines only have one power switch and temp is controlled by a pressurestat.
