My results were terrible... I ended up with hot milk. That's it. Did you do anything in particular to achieve your result? What kind of milk are you using and how "open" did you have the steam valve? I attempted several times and each was a dismal failure. (My doctor banned me from coffee this week and I am protesting by working with blended drinks and steam practice) Any help welcome.

I didn't do anything special, I used whole milk, steam open all the way. I purged the water from the wand first, dunk the tip halfway into the milk, open the wand all the way, then quickly brought the tip to the surface, and "surfed" it on the surface, getting that ch-ch-ch sound while whirlpooling it (pitcher at about 45 degree angle), then dunk the tip down halfway and whirlpool until 155 F.

Then tapped and swirled the pitcher.
