Greetings - I have just sold a Rancilio Betsy on eBay, and now want to get it ready to ship. However, the boiler is full of water, and I'm not too big on shipping it out this way (I'm worried water could somehow get out and foul the electronics). How do I get this water out of the system without damaging the Betsy? Any ideas would be appreciated.

WholeLatteLove's boiler draining instructions are good (linked under Minor Adjustments & Maintanence on the Resources page). Though it's too early in the season to worry about it, the thread Shipping Silvia has suggestions and links for shipping during the winter.
