Can you guys give me a ball park?

What is it? It doesn't look quite like any of the items that Mazzer has on their web site. Must be an older model...

I think it's a Super Jolly.

A local shop that's closing wants 150 for it. I don't want it, but I can put you in touch the the seller if you want. PM me if you want his email address...

Tagex sold warehouses of Super Jolly grinders from Starbucks for around $125-$150. They still may be trickling out on eBay. Lino and a group of locals went in on a half-dozen of them. One needed a new set of bearings and most needed new burrs (one had new burrs). On a whim I sold mine to one of Lino's friends. I should have kept it as a backup grinder... :?

No, not at all. Most of the grinders from Tagex looked like they had been kicked around the warehouse floor. They tried to head off complaints by repainting them, but it was a sloppy job. The Jolly pictured above looks clean to me. With a new set of burrs, it should run like new. The only negative I see is the ugly aluminum doser chamber. A couple of Jolly grinders we bought had them and we drew straws. I lost.

The asking price of $150 is a good deal.

Looks like a Super Jolly. If it works and doesn't vibrate, it's worth $150. Figure whoever buys it will need new burrs. I forget what Phaelon is selling them for these days - probably ~ $40

If you lived in the area, that would be a pretty good price based on the physical condition. Shipping cross country would push the price a bit more, they are heavy machines.

I was trying to nab one of those Tagex Mazzers a year ago but was not willing to spend more than $70 on it. I was going to strip the paint and have it powder coated to match my Faema but it never happened.

If you look at the photo, the doser appears to be full of coffee. Hmm, pre-ground in the doser coffee. That may be why they are going out of business.
