Hey Everyone

I am using Brazil Ipanema "Dulce" from Sweet Marias for a single origin espresso I am finding that I only get about 1.25 ounces in 27 seconds at a city roast but at a full city roast I can get 1.75 in 27 seconds.

By the way I am pleased with the taste of both of the roast, but I would like to know what error I am making for the lower volume in the lighter roast

Looks like the city roast needs to be ground a bit larger, or tamped with less force (try the latter first, so long as it's being tamped enough to eliminate channeling, etc.).

It's very likely that your lighter roast is not fully developed. Doing a good light roast is very hard.
