Green Organization / Storage

Hey Everyone -

To start, I know I may be the oddball I have about 20lbs of green in different varietals and most are in 1lb bags. I purchased a bunch way back that I forgot I had in storage, I just purchased new stock from SM, and bought the new Behmor with the 8 pack. Soo... thinking I was being smart - I purchased a bunch of cotton bags. I quickly thought about it - right way to store - impossible to differentiate the varietals because there is no outside name tag. So how do you all organize yourselves - I'm not so concerned about what to store the green in, but how do you organize yourself.

Just peel the label from the shipping bag and tape it to the cotton bag with clear packing tape.

I tried the removal trick - the problemis they rip in half most of the time (of the 3/4 I tried).

I purchased some white tags at Office Depot. I cut out the SweetMarias' label and tape it to the white tag. The tag has a thin string attached to it and I slip it around the cotton bag tie. Tear off the label and use it again for a different bean.

I keep my running stash in 3 pound bags with a mailing label stuck to the cotton bag with the origin, farm, and purchase date on it. The extra goes in vacuum storage bags, gets labeled and goes in the deep freeze.
