Back to your original question, I'm pleased that you find the article's tips and pictures worth teaching and you're welcome to use them with proper attribution ("Photos excerpted from Perfecting the Naked Extraction (Copyright (c) Dan Kehn and Home-Barista.com) with permission" in a small 7pt font suffices).
Sorry, I'll have to search around for the originals. You are welcome to them if I manage to find them. BTW, one of my back-burner projects is to rewrite the article using videos instead of stills. You can see some tests in Videos of espresso extractions. That will have to wait until I get a better digital video camera though.
