Maybe it was a typo, I got "Dimensions in inches: length: 10" x depth: 15.4 x height: 13.8" when I went to the site. Ten inches sounds wrong, too, though...
OTOH, the odd part was the sheer number of on-board 'systems' to create 'brew-units' for consumption experiences'. *sheesh*

Typo got fixed. I do believe the 10" [as the width]

I understood the "brew unit" to mean a 'group'; i.e. the text was taken from a description of the DallaCorte product line, which includes commercial multi-group units. There are plenty of 'systems' -- my favorite is the Milk Control System which "makes constant perfect milk froth for every kind of milk possible" -- it's the "possible" that gets me :)

I really didn't spend too much time or attention to the obvious marketing gobbledy-gook. I'm almost sure that it is completely meaningless, and even more worried that it mightn't be! It may be the next GS3, for less than a third of the price, but I refuse to buy from someone that doesn't respect my intelligence enough to not try to baffle me with BS.

What's worse? Having that put on the front of the machine by the manufacturer, or having it put on the machine/photograph by the vendor?!?!?

Sorry.
It really says that! I saw someone post a pic of their machine in Europe and it says that.
Wow, that machine is quite pricey.

Here's another crazy thing I saw this morning:

Hard to believe the person in charge of product aesthetics would have allowed any slogan to deface the machine. But look on the bright side --maybe we'll be seeing steeply discounted DallaCorte Minis at TJMaxx in the Designer Paraphernalia section.

From Why not Synesso? Adds new meaning to "espresso toys for barista girls and boys."

This from the good folks at Pasquini, whose slogan has "defaced" many a fine machine:

With patience and fortitude we have mastered the perfect slogan that fits our company so well, "For music-Puccini for art-Bernini for espresso-Pasquini"

This, of course, is no mere generic slogan

The HotTop slogan, on the "B" control panel, reads: "Making your life so easy."

I think my HotTop is great, but it never made my life or anyone else's so easy.

We have a little setup at work. Yesterday, one of the users goes to tamp a shot and does what I have not seen before.
