Coffee grounds in brewed coffee?

Hello, I am a barista at a coffee shop. We are all having a problem, especially with decaf coffee: the grounds are pushed up and over the filter and into the coffee (yuck). We have a pretty standard BUNN with no real model name to find on it (sorry :')) and a Bunn coffee grinder similar to the ones found in super markets (again, no real model indication visible, sorry). We grind our coffee at auto drip.

We put about seven ounces of grounds inside the funnel, any less and our coffee is too weak. With regular coffee occasionally have grounds end up in the coffee, and almost with out fail with our decaf.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so have you found a solution?

If you need any more information just let me know.

how much coffee (volume) are you brewing with that 7oz of grounds?

my first recommendation would be to use less coffee and grind finer. i have yet to find a bunn which suffered from over-extraction.
