Remember that old joke:
"Why are hotdogs sold in packs of 10, but hotdog buns sold in packs of 8"

I have a new one...

How come Green Beans are sold in lbs, but my Hottop wants a 250g batch

So if I buy 2lb's of greens, I get 3.63 batches for my hottop? That doesn't work? :) ?

How about green supplies start selling in kg's

So instead of buying 2lb bags, I will order 1kg bags

If you're tied to the 250 gram loads, 5 lb comes out to 9 x 251 grams. Personally, I've gone back to 225 grams (1/2 lb) because it seems easier to control the roast.

Best,
David
