Last week I opened up by beloved Alexia to adjust the OPV valve again and on the bottom tray i found a loose nut...I looked around inside but for the life of me I couldn't figure out where it came from - so, since everything is still working, I buttoned up the machine and "tried" to forget about it.

Well this week, I found two more nuts and a washer under the Alexia sitting on the countertop - BUMMER! Well, I quickly figured out that these two nuts belonged to the 2 free floating bolts that hold on the front rubber feet on my machine - easy fix.

The real bummer here is that apparently my machine requires a quarterly maintenance checkup to check that everything is still tight - is this a common task that everyone here on HB has to also deal within or am i dealing with some sort of anomaly??

I've owned my Andreja for a year now... maybe that I should check too. I'll let you know if I find something strange.

I've had my Alexia a short while now - a few months. It's been moved a bit and haven't noticed any bits falling off or rattling sounds which might indicate the same. Should I have to open it again, I'll definitely be looking for loose items.
