Could someone explain to me the purpose of the two drains on the left of the picture below?
My machine is steaming slowly out of the red hose and dripping slowly out of the left copper piping and I'm not sure why.

Hello,

Is it possible for you to provide a better image? Can you tell us what conditions have to exist for the leaking to occur?? Hot/cold/house water pressure/brewing/not brewing/pump on/pump not on etc.

I have worked on a number of CMA machines and while they are all similar in function, I have not seen a configuration like the one you are showing. The two piece drip tray tells me that you have a 2 group? So maybe the two on the right are the outlets for the HX expansion valves? I don't know what the flexible tube might be for. Can you see in the top where it would route from?

The red tube is from your boiler 1.8 bar safety valve, which is leaking. It is housed inside a black plastic dome and that tube connects to it. You need to change that valve. The black plastic thing will break though.

The middle drip is the expansion valve, normal.

The right tube coming from the ball valve is the boiler drain. Nice little feature in that it goes directly into the drain.
