Anyone tried to move the power cord on the Mazzer Mini?

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

Hi all,

I am the very happy owner of the Mazzer Mine E B grinder...I love it, and I understand why the powercord is placed as stupid as is...for commercials when it is standing on the tray, it is just perfect....

...BUT as many of you HOME baristas like me, the grinders is placed on the counter in front of the kitchen wall. So the powercord should be placed far more back...or back-left/right...

...anyone tried to move the power-cord?

I've never moved the power cord, but it is noteworthy that recent models have it exit from the bottom. Assuming you're handy, it would not be hard since it's fairly roomy inside the bottom section. A drill, hole plug, and a steady hand are all it should take.

Yes, it has been done.

Take a look here:

Seems no drill is needed.
