Any opinions about La Pavoni pump machines?

I'm looking for some opinions on the la Pavoni pump machines. The Cellini is a nice looking one, but it seems a bit high priced for its makeup. The Lusso is more affordable (on sale) but I'm wondering about the plastic body.

Btw, what's up with the Gaggia machines now? Seems a couple places aren't carrying them anymore.

Thanks!

I bought a lusso while in college and it produced swill. Fast forward to the present and before I sold it, I tested it by grinding some fresh beans in a Rocky....lo and behold, good espresso. So I can say that it can produce a decent drink, but the steam power is limited and the crema is sorta fake. (due to the pressurized pf) But for the price, it is a good machine. As for the plastic, mine still looked great after 6 yrs.

But a good grinder is a must!!!!

There is a detailled review on Coffeegeek. http://www.coffeegeek.com/proreviews/detailed/pavoniprofessional
I have a Pavoni Professional, and I think it's a nice piece of equipment.
