Hi guys and gals
Im a relative newbie to coffee making and have a Breville Cafe Roma Machine(not sure if this a US make).
The main problem is the coffee filter baskets are too small and of bad design. The double basket holds about 8gms of coffee.
The other problem is it is double skinned. The entire bottom of the basket on the inside is covered with holes but on the outside
there is only one hole. The inside measurement is 51.5mm.
Does anyone know were I can get good 51mm filter baskets that hold 14+gms of coffee.
Thanks in advance

Hey, I used to have the Breville 800esxl which uses the same 51mm basket. I was able to grab a spare double basket and I cut the bottom out. For some reason I could not AT ALL make ANY good shots with it. I tried everything I knew and everything that I read from this site. So I stuck with the pressurized baskets.

I have no clue where you can buy a double non pressurized 51mm basket.

With good practice, I was able to pull a shot and semi impressed my espresso buddy.

With my new Vetrano, he is super impressed with my shots.

Theres the bit that I know.

Hey thanks for the reply.I have thought of trying what you have done.Sound like its not worth it though.
I can get a reasonable shot but not enough before it starts blonding.

Millennium models of the Europiccola use 51mm baskets; one of them might fit. They hold about 12g.

Hi, season greetings from Acapulco, Mexico. This is the first time I enter these forums (I just signed on). I apologize for any mistake with English, if any.
I've been using a Krups XP4000 and it has the filter size you are looking for and it holds 14 grams off ground coffee without any problem, the point is to check if the tabs are the same of your espresso machine, or you could get just the filter and try to put it in your portafilter. I hope it helps you
If you go Acapulco, find me for a good coffee
