well ereplacementparts got the replacement solenoid in. Yay. It'll be here in a week or so.

I'm going to replace it myself and see what happens. Regardless, I'm probably going to buy a different machine here soon. Hopefully i can fix the beville so I can sell it.

Thanks to this thread I ordered a new solenoid valve for my BDB from ereplacementparts.com. I had to wait a few weeks as it was on backorder. Replacement was very easy using the link noted above. I'm happy I did it and no more buzzing noise. I kept the old solenoid valve and will look at it to see if cleaning it will make it a sufficient backup for the future. I also cleaned the group head and shower screen while I was at it since that was long overdue. There is a remarkable amount of "empty space" inside the machine. I was surprised!
