Water spitting out from steam nozzle - Page 2

Screw it! The problem appeared again... It seems to have some relationship with the idle time. This morning I get very unstable wet steam like those produce by thermoblock. How to I adjust the water level sensor?

You can probably just unscrew it and clean it off. My Office Control water sensor had a lot of build up on it, cleaned it off and solved an identical issue.

And it's not working, which is why it's worth a peek.

my new alex 2 was acting like this. after purging my steam and letting it run for a min. in to a beaker I had 2oz. of water
wich was way to much. After talking to peers on this forum and tech support from CC. I removed my water probe and sure enough it had a glob of what appeared to be scale about 1/4 way up the probe. found out by tech support it was suposedly silicone from insert tube. I took some steel wool to it shined it up and replaced. now I get under 5ml in a min.and works great. might be a simular prob.
