I'm looking for any info about a espresso machine from the 50-60-70 ???

Al I know it's called a "Martian", and it's made in Italy.

It's a small home-machine, with a round boiler, and a steamwand.

Help???? :?:

Well, the one i've seen is -lets say- a little bit less exotic, a little more traditional so to speak!

Perhaps you are thinking of the short-lived La Pavoni Sputnik, not a home machine though:

I understand that it was a commercial failure due to capacity limitations. What we need is a honking great sphere!

I know of the "Electric Martian Espresso" of 1955 and also have a copy of the original brochure , which I received yesterday
Anyway its a sensational machine, made to the highest standard, I am researching it at the moment made by ATOMIC's Bialetti .
It has many signature design aspects of Atomic machines, but better!
It has a 1.5 litre water capacity and does 2 to 20 cups at a time, sounds like great capacity to me!
I have many pictures, so do you have a Martian?
Regards
Andrew
