First, thank you for purchasing a Vibiemme Double Domobar from Stefano's Espresso Care. We hope everyone is making amazing espresso and enjoying their machine as much as we enjoy ours.

For the past few months, FRCN Digital, 1st-Line Equipment, and Stefano's Espresso Care have been working together on an electronic owner's manual for the Vibiemme 2011 Double Boiler. We believe it is the most comprehensive user's manual available for any espresso machine, and it covers everything from set up, usage, hints and tips, troubleshooting, and the ever-important maintenance. Although the manual is based on the printed manual you received with your machine, the electronic manual has many additions. We highly recommend you download the manual and look through it at your earliest convenience. Most of you have had your machines long enough that they are due -- or even overdue -- for a descaling. If you do not have the necessary maintenance products, they are of course available on our website:

Although we have read through it numerous times, you're still likely to find some spelling and punctuation errors. The technical information has been read through many times as well, and we're pretty sure it's all correct and complete, but please don't hesitate to let us know if you find anything that may need our attention. You will notice that the front page is still stamped "draft." As we make corrections and/or additions, we will forward an updated link for the latest version. (Please let us know if you do not want to be on that list.)

As soon as Stefano gets it posted on his website I will be taking the file off my server space...

And I must make one correction.. Out of the 74 pages, about 4 were based on the included manual that came with your DD, and the descaling instructions were based on somewhat Stefanos instructions, but since the current DD can be plumbed or run off the reservoir, many alterations were made. With those notable exceptions, this manual was created from scratch.

This is a fantastic resource and it looks like you guys did great, congratulations! If I were in the market for a new machine this would certainly be a MAJOR consideration along with the knowledgable user base.
