Vibiemme double boiler PID espresso machine on the way - Page 5

Postby networkcrasher on Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:26 am

- Brew Boiler 1414 ml 100x180 diameter with 3 mm thickness rather then 2,5mm like most of the other boiler
( this avoid the need of a external thermo protection to keep temp stability)

- Steam Boiler 905x180mm thickness 2,5

Err, I read it wrong

so whatever the volume of 905x180 is.

Numbers : SPL @ 1m

C weighting : [ Nominally Flat response ]
Max Hybrid Grinder : 76
Vibiemme 65 during infusion dropping to 61 during extraction

A weighting : [ As we hear ] A weighting on wikipedia:
Max Hybrid Grinder : 75
Less that 60 in both in both cases.
In layman's terms, about twice as loud as the refrigerator.

That should probably be 90.5. 905mm is 35.63 INCHES

Err, neither of those numbers look right.

Brew Boiler 1414 ml 100x180 diameter

would lead me to think it's a cylinder like most boilers, and at 100mm tall by a radius of 90mm (which by the way makes the cylinder really wide, but not very tall), you get a boiler that has a volume of 2.54L.

Sounds a little off...
