Noted Randy, and will be done as soon as I can find the supplies to do so. While sorting the problem tho, most of the valves and the grouphead have been descaled, but I'm sure the rest of the lines and the boiler have similar issues. I'm researching water issues now as well, as I have ignored the whole topic previously. A good learning process!

Which is the one way valve you're referring to?

Thanks Eric,

I had cleaned that, it was one piece that I couldn't find much wrong with. I'll take it apart and check it again next time I'm in there.

I've just turned the machine on so that it's ready for the morning. What a pleasure to hear it prime the boiler......and STOP!
