The spout is original one? I have seen a similar device but with a long pipe instead of the spout.

the spout is what it had when i recieved it but im its 2nd owner .. perhaps the longer spout was on it at some point. .. kind of wondering if the body would make a good naked PF or if i should keep it since its kind of a rarity.

IMHO, it was designed (with a long pipe) as a device for quick preparation of a big amount of coffee, for example breakfast, ordinary coffee.

It seems similar in concept to the Reserve or Hotel Group on this Gaggia Tell

Bigger exists see here :

http://www.planetcafe.fr/forums/viewtop...f=2&t=2256 picture 3 and 4.

Used for serving a large number of espresso at once; especially at breakfast.

Even if it's outside INEI standards, it is really espresso.
