I've posted about this at CG but didn't get much info.

This is about an 8-liter DVA water softener I bought some 6 weeks ago.

After a couple of days I get a light yellow tint in the water coming out of it. If I cycle enough water through the tank the tint goes away, but comes back after a few days. I did the initial rinse before installing it as described in the instructions.

Last week-end I performed a routine regeneration kind of hopelessly wishing to solve the problem, but two days after, I could notice a variation in the color of water when comparing to some tap water.

Anyone has experience with this type of softener, or can give me idea to how to solve this? Should I get a replacement?
