Speedster portafilter thread size

Postby gyro on Sat Aug 14, 2010 2:17 am

Hi guys,

I've asked Dave to work some of his magic on a pf handle for me but I haven't yet had time to get the tools to remove the old handle to check the thread size of the stock Speedster pf. Anyone been down this road already to confirm perhaps a M10 or M12 thread?

I've also got a EPNW tamper, and can't find any M10 or M12 nuts at the local hardware store (I'm sure there are some in HK somewhere...) to confirm that thread size either. Anyone?

Thanks all,

Cheers Chris

Speedster stock PF is a M10. I know because I just got a set of lovely violet wood handles back because the M12 stud was to large. Not sure about the EPWNW tamper though. I do not have one of them.

On a side note, if anyone is interested in a very nice pair of violet wood portafilter handles with M12 bolts, I will make you a deal on a set I have sitting in the kitchen on the table.
