Solved: Cimbali boiler leaky release valve question - Page 2

Kristi-

The La Cimbali M32 has a December 2001 birthdate, so she is just now 5 years old.

Easy to use, ditto. Just lots of flushing from idle, my only complaint. I don't have any way to monitor brew temp (yet at least), so from long idle I just do several long flushes. I am also using a flush-n-go technique when I pull my shot, no idling. I am not sure if the machine has the thermal memory of an elephant or not. IIRC, Dan had some complaints about the Junior staying a bit cool if over flushed.

It is a very spoiling machine. I had a hard time coming off using it before the holidays and going back to Silvia. Silvia and I have come to terms... The superautomatic at work, well, that's another story.

Ah, a youngster!!! :D

Yes, there would be a big difference if I left this on all the time - whole different learning curve!!! A lot of playing with the pstat... I live in lala land using this the way I do!

Silvia? for the holidays?

Attach a big handle to the top of the M32 and call it portable???

Yes, I would not be pleased shifting between this and Silvia, but I suppose one can learn to cope with damn near anything that has caffeine in it!!! (referring to the superauto...)

I did wind up ordering it but it is too tall for my old cimbali so I had to chop the pin and raise the warming rack. I have a shorter one coming tomorrow from CafeParts.
