It's off center... that would bug the #@$& out of me! But very nice gauge.. where did you get it from? I'm think I'll want one of those eventually.

What? What? You have some kind of problem with EyeTalian quality control?

Obviousy you haven't heard of the Ducati that was submitted to a cycle magazine for a review (in the 70s) with a fly laminated into the clear gelcoat on the fiberglas tank. And not down in an out of the way place either, right on top.

It would actually be the most valuable tank in the world if someone could ever find it but I assume it was painted over shortly after the review was printed.

It's one of the great motorcycle legends.

And I have at least 2 (much smaller) ones concerning Isomac and Mazzer but they will wait.

Look again. It depends a lot on the angle you look at it from. I lined it up to be close from the operating angle. It is off a little. It pushes against the blow-by tube on the right side of the picture. Because it's 1/4" behind the front panel, any offset seems exaggerated.

Unbelievable, I remember that article! From Cycle World as I recall (don't ask me which Duc they were testing...) As I recall though, the author quipped that "at least it was an honest-to-goodness Italian fly". Can't believe I still have that tidbit stored in my memory banks-

Kristi, forgot to ask, did you install this gauge with the fittings and everything yourself or were you simply replacing an existing gauge? The reason I ask is I need some help finding the proper fittings for a new gauge install. Thanks.

There was an original gauge (boiler pressure only) which had broken cover glass.

The new gauge had two 1/8" fittings. The original gauge was a single 1/8 so no change on that side.

The capillary was 1/8 and the OPV stub on my machine (THIS VARIES) was 1/8.

So the whole install was very easy.

Many Cimbali OPVs do not have that stub that made such an easy connection.

This mod ADDED the capability of brew pressure measurement. Cimbalis don't have that.

Nice work! Couple you expand a bit on how you connected the gauge to measure brew pressure?
