Hi,
Andy from Germany here. I visit this site many times a week, so now it is my time to give something back. So here is my restoration. :D

I have a good working Futurmat Ariete in the kitchen, so there was no reason to do a restoration. But i liked to know more from espresso machine & the technique, so i started the search for an old machine. Founding the Astoria AEP 1 Sonia i had the idea to do something new, because she was in bad constitution...
I had the idea to "pimp" my Astoria. In the beginning i had so many ideas (plexiglas with led...blue light in the case like i saw in pc case modding)...in the end i filtered the ones i could build and have enough money for...

Here is the first look...

The next step is white letters on the sidepanels & some plexiglas with Astoria-Logo on it...
