Resetting a Fuji PXR3 to factory settings

Postby 703Eric on Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:18 pm

Hi, Does anyone know how to reset a Fuji PXR3 to factory settings? I just installed a PID unit on a linea and I think I messed the programming up.
Thank you,
Eric

PXR3 Manual Link

You may want to try an AutoTune as a place to start. Start the AutoTune @ ~ 180 to 200°F

I just tried to do Auto Tune but if just keeps heating past my High value. I would like to reset the PID to the factory setting and start again.

Have you've verified the SSR is ok by disconnecting the DC control from the PID?

Thanks for your help Ike, How can i check the SSR by disconnecting the Power to the PID? Sorry, I am a bit of an electronics idiot.

Oh...

The output of the PID is normally a DC voltage that is fed to the DC side of the SSR.

The RED wire, connected to +, is the one you need to lift.

If you remove the control input from the SSR, the machine should stay cool. If the SSR is blown closed, an unusual failure, the machine will heat regardless.

Is it possible that you have the SSR control wired to the wrong terminal and it's always on?

Just disconnected the red wire from A1+ on the SSR to position 5 on the Controller and the boiler keeps heating

Ok. Leave that disconnected.

Remove AND INSULATE / ISOLATE one of the A/C leads to the SSR.

What model SSR are you using?

BTW, DEBUG :?: UNPLUG :!:
