A buddy of mine has an Isomac Tea that he purchased used.
It has a PID controller added onto the side the case. I guess that is how they did it a bunch of years ago.

The PID unit is not working anymore.
My buddy wants to remove it, as he is just a basic user.

His question is: "What parts (if any) does he have to add back to the machine to remove a PID controller?

Is there any info that would show the removal of a PID controller and how to wire a machine back to original condition.

Why not just replace it for $30 ?

Because as I stated, my buddy wants the machine back to stock condition.

Can you post a pic of the internals showing pressurestat.

Unfortunately I can't as my buddy lives an hour away.

Also if he's a basic user, the PID will make the machine easier to control if he replaces it. I understand he wants to return it to stock condition, but I don't think that's the best choice.

bad news , there is no how-to manual for what you want for any machine ; the good news however , if you find the original machine diagrams with a complete page of all the wiring connections usually color coded , you should have little trouble returning to orig. stock /

forgot to add that your friend will have to invest in a new P-STAT , this essential part is removed when PID takes over temp function /

Ok, I have some more info.
The machine has a Watlow 935A PID controller that is mounted on the side of the machine.
I contacted Watlow and that controller is obsolete.
They have a new controller available and it's $300. !!!!

@redbone you mentioned a new PID controller is $30.
Where might I find info on that?
