Hello! The other day, I purchased a used Rancilio S26 for $200.00. The machine was in pretty good condition on the outside, and looks almost perfect inside. All internals appear to be in original working order.

Today I plumbed the machine in, and when I powered it up, the boiler light never came on. After being on for nearly 30 minutes, there was no heat from the boiler. I pumped some water through and it felt like it was the original temp as it came out of the tap.

When I tested the machine, I turned it on and powered on the pump for a second or two to make sure that it worked. The main power was on for less than 20 seconds, but I could feel heat coming from the boiler.

Does anybody have and idea what could cause this? Also, the boiler pressure gauge on the machine is stuck in the 1.0-1.3 (green area) range. Is it possible that there is pressure stuck somewhere in the system and that is preventing it from powering the boiler on?

Thanks for the help!
