I recently purchased QM67 and noticed that the portafilter doesn't lock perpendicular to the machine - instead it locks further right than anticipated. This becomes a problem with the double spout portafilter as the cups cannot be aligned parallel to the machine and the rightmost cup ends up blocking the brewing lever. I wanted to know if you all had the same problem or if your portafilter locks perpendicularly on the QM67

the portafilter gasket might be a little too small

my Alexia was perpendicular when i bought it, when i replaced the gasket it either ended at 7 o'clock (using reccommended 8.5mm gasket) or 5 o'clock (9 mm gasket)

I tried a .5mm spacer from espresso parts on the 8.5mm gasket and it ended up . . . at 5 o'clock

It also depends on wear on the portafilter and group. Over time, they wear each other down a little and the lock position drifts right as a result.

Also, different baskets are made out of materials of different thicknesses which can also change the lock position.

Did you purchase a new or used QM67?
