Hello, all.
I recently purchased an ECM Giotto machine from Goodwill, and the pump does not seem to work. The pump is 47W, 120v, and 60Hz. I have looked all over for a pump of comparable specs, but to no avail. The only 120v 60Hz ones that I have found run at different wattages. Would it be possible to replace it with one with slightly different specs? If so, what should I look for?

You found it at goodwill?!
Nice, that's a steal!

Pump wise it depends if it's a vibe or rotary pump.

Does it have a model number on it? If it's a vibe pump, it's probably one of these:

The model number is E50500EN00120G4. The company listed is C.E.M.E. engineering. It says this one is 47 watts, would a 41 watt pump work?

41 or 52 watt would work fine.

ECM are now Rocket and the Giotto still in production. Espressotec has parts - http://www.espressotec.com/index.php/ul ... l?___SID=U. Also worth contacting Stefano, as he frequently comes up with stuff not listed on his site - http://www.espressocare.com/parts/

I would be inclined to get one with the brass outlet like nickw listed. Nice machine and worth investing in. Lots of rebuild info on H-B, so do a search.

I just got the pump in the mail! I'll keep you posted on how the restoration goes.
