Pump pressure slowly declines from 9bar after 17 seconds to 8bar

Hi all,
I have a month old Quickmill Anita.
I have been noticing that when I pull a shot, after 17seconds or so the needle on the pressure gauge starts dropping from 9 bar to 8bar.
It may continue to decline further but by the time it gets from 9bar to 8 the shot is finished.
The shots taste fine and the power seems to be ok as the odd time i'm making milk drinks I steam at the same as pulling a shot and the needle doesn't drop rapidly or fluctuate wildly so any thoughts?
Could the needle just be a bit wonky? I know the pressure readout dial is a little off from what the pressure actually is so maybe after a while the needle just drops from the initial surge of power?
